Coppacchioli Tattini 'Piccolo Produzioni' 2025

IGT Marche Pinot Nero
Wild red berries, sour cherry, forest floor

Regular price €21,90
Taxes included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

High-altitude Pinot Nero, grown at 1,000 metres elevation in the Monti Sibillini, defines this wine – named ‘Piccole Produzioni’ for the extremely limited quantities in which it is made. Fruit is grown in the demanding mountain viticulture environment of Cupi di Visso, undergoing manual farming, gentle pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation before aging for six months in traditional large oak casks. The wine is ruby red, with lifted aromas of wild red berries, sour cherry and forest floor. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with ripe red fruit, high alpine acidity and subtle oak tannins. Pair it with beef carpaccio, roasted duck, lentils or aged pecorino.

About the Producer

Coppacchioli Tattini is a small estate located in Cupi di Visso, high within the Sibillini National Park. Established in 2016, the winery is led by Ginevra Coppacchioli, who manages the project alongside her family. The vineyards sit at an altitude of 1,000 meters, making them some of the highest cultivated plots in the region. Farmed organically across roughly five hectares, the vines experience intense mountain temperature swings, harsh winters, and surrounding wild vegetation. The production focuses on local varieties, including an historic strain of local Vissanello (Pecorino) as well as Chardonnay and Pinot Nero, used to make for both still wines and traditional-method sparkling wines. Working with small yields and manual harvesting, production is extremely limited and completed entirely within the estate. The resulting wines are defined by high natural acidity and sharp minerality, reflecting their high-altitude farming.
