Vines are planted on clay soils, and grapes are harvested by hand for a very small annual production of around 600 bottles. The wine is aged for at least 15 months in barriques, steel tanks and then in-bottle, imparting a rich texture that complements its full body. On the palate, it offers citrus, honey and savoury notes, and a round mouthfeel that is well balanced by robust acidity.
