Coppacchioli Tattini 'Pecora Nelgregge' Pas Dosé 2023

Spumante Metodo Classico Vissanello
Green apple, white peach, crushed flint

Regular price €34,90
Taxes included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

Pecora Nelgregge is made from 100% Vissanello — the ultra-centenary, ungrafted variety recovered near Cupi di Visso and native to the village — grown at 1,000 metres in the Sibillini Mountains National Park. It is a millesimato metodo classico, pas dosé, produced entirely in-house: from organically farmed mountain vineyards to manual riddling and small-batch disgorgement. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature, followed by extended lees ageing. The wine has a fine, persistent perlage with bright aromas of green apple, white peach, wild chamomile, and crushed flint. The palate displays excellent acidity, clear citrus fruit and a lingering chalky finish. Serve with raw fish, fried seafood, vegetable tempura or young, firm cheeses.

About the Producer

Coppacchioli Tattini is a small estate located in Cupi di Visso, high within the Sibillini National Park. Established in 2016, the winery is led by Ginevra Coppacchioli, who manages the project alongside her family. The vineyards sit at an altitude of 1,000 meters, making them some of the highest cultivated plots in the region. Farmed organically across roughly five hectares, the vines experience intense mountain temperature swings, harsh winters, and surrounding wild vegetation. The production focuses on local varieties, including an historic strain of local Vissanello (Pecorino) as well as Chardonnay and Pinot Nero, used to make for both still wines and traditional-method sparkling wines. Working with small yields and manual harvesting, production is extremely limited and completed entirely within the estate. The resulting wines are defined by high natural acidity and sharp minerality, reflecting their high-altitude farming.
